The independent short film project Do You features a group of diverse and talented producers and music artists. Cagle and Williams collaborated with artists that they have worked with on previous projects and also invited new talent to participate on the project.

Joel Love, III
Do You Original Film Score
Houston native Joel Love is a young composer whose music is a synergy of styles. Ranging from Monk to Messiaen, his music and interests are eclectic. Love’s compositions have been performed domestically and internationally. In 2007, his choral composition
O nata lux was performed at the International Choral Festival in Panama City, Panama. Joel has also written scores for several independent films to date.
In 2005, he began a working relationship with Cagle and Williams that has resulted in two award winning films Gemini and Surviving Rita: Looking Forward. The score for Surviving Rita: Looking Forward was nominated for Best Film Score at the 2007 Louisiana State University Outhouse Film Festival. These projects have collectively won honors in over ten film festivals across the United States.
Love is currently pursuing a Masters degree in composition from the University of Houston. His teachers include University of Houston professor Rob Smith, Lamar University professor Nick Rissman, and Berklee College of Music professor Andrew List. In addition to composition, Joel also pursues an affinity for jazz piano, playing regularly at several live music venues from Lake Charles, Louisiana, to Austin. He has excelled as a pianist under the tutelage of Lamar University professor Betsy Hines and Lamar University President Jimmy Simmons. Joel is an active member of the Society of Composers International and the American Music Center.

Josh Yawn
Do You Trailer Music Composer
A talented musical composer is one of the titles that could be used to describe the “multi-talented” entertainer known as Josh Yawn. Yawn composed the musical score for the trailer for Do You.
Josh’s talent for music was apparent in his youth as he honed his skills as a percussionist. He was a part of a Christian rock band named Crossroads that performed throughout Southeast Texas. In his early teens, Josh’s love for music led him to become a deejay which he later turned into a successful mobile deejay business. His passion for music let him into another field that would give him the opportunity to perform, television.
In 2002, Yawn traveled to Ottawa, Canada to work as a coordinator, host and composer on the reunion of the hit Nickelodeon show You Can’t Do That on Television. His talent and work ethic allowed him to return in 2004 as the executive producer of the You Can’t Do That on Television 25th Anniversary Show. Josh has also worked in front of and behind the scenes on many projects such as Pyramid with Donny Osmond and has been a guest on multiple talk shows in various markets.
He is the composer of the forthcoming syndicated game show Combination Lock for Sony/King World. Josh is also the host of the radio show My Generation on KVLU 93.1 FM-3. He has worked as a voice over artist on a number of award winning projects, composed music for national television programs such as the Wheel of Fortune and has worked in casting on several television shows. Yawn is a graduate of Lamar University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication

Adonis the Great – “Good Man”
In his youth, this talented singer could be found the roof top of his parent’s Lafayette, Louisiana home. Adonis Edmonds was the fourth child of six born to his parents who filled their home with music. Fondly, he remembers his father, who was a singer as well, delegating notes to his family members.
“The music stopped when my parents divorced.” according to Adonis.
His mother moved the family from Lafayette to Houston. A few months after living in Houston, Adonis’s love for music and his voice began to touch people at the age of seven. His mother would take him to senior citizen homes in the city to entertain the elderly.
As Adonis began to hone his singing talent, he also began to hone his skills as a songwriter. Music artists and producers such as Boyz II Men, Jodeci, Babyface and Luther Vandross influenced Adonis sound and writing style. While living in Beaumont, he began to perform more in public venues such as churches and talent shows. Adonis began writing and recording his own music at the age of fourteen.
His talent led him to the opportunity of a lifetime, when he had the chance to be mentored in Philadelphia by Wanye Morris, a member of Boyz II Men. After his stint in Philadelphia, Adonis returned to Beaumont and won the Southeast Texas Idol competition. Inspired and motivated by his accomplishments, he made the investment of building a studio in his home. Since that moment, Edmonds has been working toward his debut album.
Using the persona, Adonis the Great, he developed a strong reputation as a soulful singer throughout the Greater Houston and Southeast Texas area. In 2002, he contributed several songs to the soundtrack for G Sharp Productions’ award winning film project The Greater Ambition.
“Working on The Greater Ambition was a great experience and I am excited about the work that I have contributed on Do You.” He says.
Adonis performed the single “Good Man” from his self-titled album Adonis the Great in a club scene in Do You.
“This was a brand new experience. This is my first time being feature in a movie and I am excited to see the reaction from the performance.” Adonis states.

Andre’ “ChoirBoy” Cassimere
“Feeling You”
A hybrid of Hip-Hop and R&B, Andre' "ChoirBoy" Cassimere is the definition of superior and can be classified as one of today's greatest "True Entertainers ".

Cassimere is a crafty songwriter and composer. His talents as a musician are displayed by his skill on the acoustic guitar, piano, as well as the drums.
Andre has an extensive resume of performances. In Atlanta, He has performed at numerous venues such as The Vibe Music Festival, EarthLink Live, The Tabernacle, Hard Rock Cafe, Sugar Hill, and Club 112 just to name a few. A regular crowd favorite, he steals the show at Apache Cafe's infamous open mic night. In North Carolina, Cassimere was personally invited to perform at "Venus and Serena Williams’ Charity Event for Ronald McDonald House". In his home state of Texas, he shared the stage with artists like India Arie, Jamie Foxx, and Sean "P. Diddy" Combs at the "Dallas Cowboy Celebrity Basketball Game". Over the course of his musical career he has performed and charmed thousands nationwide.

The B.L.O.K Boyz
“World’s Vision”
Innovative and consistent are two words to describe the style that The B.LO.K Boyz contribute to hip hop in the South. They represent the streets in a way that can be felt by all, but ultimately they represent the mindset of every average joe, hustla, and gangsta on the grind for a just cause. What sets them apart from the rest is the ability to be business minded as well as street.
The B.L.O.K Boyz members consist of the CEO and current engineer Marco tha King of YG's, Kayo Da Donest, E-Cuz Saddam, and Kross Da Boss. The Beaumont based group came together in 2005 under the Mo Grind Complex Entertainment umbrella. The group is currently managed by Dexter Levise of Levise Enterprises.
Currently, the B.LO.K Boyz are completing their first self titled album and will be ready for release in the winter of 2008. The first single titled Tha Parkin’ Lot has created quite a buzz locally and is projected to do the same nationally. Tha Parkin’ Lot which is in rotation on Beaumont's KTCX Magic 102.5 FM was created for a club atmosphere.
After completion of their album, the B.LO.K Boyz will start introducing and promoting their current roster of artist which are signed under the B.LO.K Boyz label. They are also in the process of shooting their video for Triangle Starz, a highly anticipated single that showcases the talent of the group as well as other local stars from the Southeast Texas area.
The B.LO.K Boyz goals are to progress as a successful label as well as a successful group. They are striving for nothing but the best and will accept nothing less when it comes to their music.

Playmaker
“Lovers4Life”
In 2001, after graduating high school, a friend introduced Jamal Wright to a hobby that would turn into his life long passion. Wright had a thirty dollar computer program that he could record music with and from that moment, the hip hop artist and producer known as Playmaker was born.
Being musically influenced by Swishahouse Records and The Screwed Up Click, Playmaker brings his own style and charisma to his brand of hip hop and rap. He has also trained as a violinist for six years. As a performer, he has been apart of groups that have opened shows for Houston’s rap legend Scarface and rapper Lil Flip. In Southeast Texas, Playmaker has produced a number of show music introductions for DJ Supadave’s radio show on KTCX Magic 102.5 FM.
Playmaker was on the set of Do You with friend and singer Adonis the Great when Williams approached him about producing music for the project. Playmaker collaborated with Adonis on the song for Do You, “Lovers4Life.” As a music artist, he was excited to participate on this project.
“I am thrilled to work on Do You. It is the first major project to come my way and I am honored and privileged to be apart of this movie” Playmaker says.
Within the next few years, Playmaker’s goal is to expand his horizons and take his music career to the next level.
mKeys
As a child, producer Marcus Keys was heavily influenced by the spiritual and gospel sounds of his family who were gifted musicians and singers in the local churches that he attended in Bay City and Angleton, Texas. As a teenager, his love for music expanded into the realms of rhythm and blues and hip hop. Extending his taste into different genres of music would prove to be beneficial to Keys in the future.
After graduating from Texas Southern University, Marcus was introduced to music production by his cousin who had been involved in creating music for a number of years. His cousin provided the inspiration and the opportunity to launch Keys into his passion for producing music.
He has been deeply influenced by R&B artists such as Jodeci and 112 and producers such as Kanye West, Dr. Dre, and Timberland. Marcus brings his individuality and strong work ethic to his craft. Motivated and highly driven, Keys feels his sound is unique and very difficult to label.
Keys provided music for the behind-the-scene documentary for Do You. With his deep faith and talent, Marcus believes he will have a prosperous career in the music industry.
